      noob boob

Well I am getting around now...

      The project: 1962 Fairlane
      drivetrain: Turbo'd inliner with a T5
Suspension: Soon to be tri-4 rear and A-arm and L-arm front with R&P
      Brakes: Mustang Cobra spec
      Body: Totally shaved
Wheels: Mustang Bullits with 245/45/17 rubber
Curb weight: should be around or under 2700# (I hope)
      Ride Height: WAY FREAKING LOW

some of this has already been completed but the suspension and brakes aren't. I am a mechanical engineering student and we are doing the suspension for my Senior Design project (mostly it is CAD and FEA work) We should be posting some screen shots in the next week or two of what our progress is so far.

Yeah this looks like the place to be (too many of those 69 camaro people on Lateral-g :P ) I ordered up my stickers so hopefully I will have those to display here shortly.....well once I get glass back in my car....

being in college and that I live 10 mins from class on my bike I parked it when katrina hit for a disc brake swap and doing the blow through setup. It has been parked about 3 weeks now and starting to get an itch to drive it again!!

Welcome aboard. Not sure how much reading you've already done.. but you should know that someone's likely to ask your name and for pics of your Fairlane.

Ha ha ha. "Too many 69 Camaros". Too funny. I agree but do know this: alot of people visit both forums.
1972 Pro-touring Cutlass S in the works. Currently installing new chasis components from BMR & C5 brakes. Frame should be back under the car by the winter '05, hopefully. Bodywork to start by end of fall '05.

so my bonnent is like 95% done (just two seems on the back to finish up) it is a little lumpy but will work for now. once the car is running I am thinking it needs a cleanup with the DA (it is ROUGH casting) and work on getting it buffed out for the bling look. you can see my crudy looking fuel and oil ines in the pic. I gotta trim my drain down and put in a little section of oil supply and put in my new float and then I can start the car again (been parked a month now)
