I got the new Magnaflow X-Pipe installed today. They welded a set of flanges to the back of the collector and to the front of the intermediate pipes. All the seams are welded. They did a decent job, but I'm not sure I would have been so liberal with the BLACK spray paint on all the seams. I'll probably hit it with some ceramic silver header paint to blend in a little better, but at least they didn't leave the welds to rust.
It sounds great, and better yet, no exhaust leaks! I'll do a video comparing it to the old H-Pipes in a few days. But from inside the car, you can't really tell much of a difference between the X and H pipes (other than the exhaust leaks are gone).
