Rides - 69 Camaro Foose

Not a fan of the second gen style hood at all, or the grill, or the 80's looking monochromatic bumpers.

Ther beautiful thing about 67-69 f-bodies is that you really only need to change the stance, and wheel/tire combo to make them look gorgeous.

Foose is an artist that doesn't know when to put down his paint brush and leave the work alone IMO. :(

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that that is a fourth-gen SS styled hood. The same hood used on Year One's "Innovator".

sheesh! Are the wheels on the black car photochopped or what!?! They don't even look real! The rest is pretty sweet though!

It sure does take some balls to critisize those two cars, considering they're probably built to a higher quality then 98% of the cars on this site.

I'll be looking for yours at Columbus next year. Can't wait to see it as it should be leaps and bounds above these two, at least it better with you being such a perfectionist and all. I'll be sure to wear sock suspenders too!

The black car won a "Top 5" smoy, and you have the nerve to critisize it. Some nerve. If someone doesn't like the look of it, that's fine, everyone can have their opinion. But to knock the actual build quality, that's uncalled for. No matter who you are, or who you think you are.

If your's isn't it that Top 5 next year, I hope you're not to disapointed.

No it is not photo chopped it has 19's and 22's on it!

The car is very nice I love the black on red and the 60' dash, of course don't ask Chip Jr(68 fusion) he found a gap that was 5/16 instead of 3/16! The same guy built the year one cup winning red 69 camaro also......that is in PHR this month!

I bet steve has some info on them Like I stated before the red one is in PHR the black one will be covered by someone I'm sure, that is if they can get over the "poor build quality and finger sized gaps"! lol

I didn't get a chance to look closely at the black '69 but the build quality on the red car was very good.. and the black one was good enough to make the top-5 for Street Machine of the Year

- The two '69's that made the top-5 were certainly not my favorites.

Johnny just shot the Foose Camaro and the Unique GT350 for the January PHR issue.. pics came out great, it is amazing what good talent behind the camera can do for a car.. They have made the car much nicer now than it looked back at its unveiling in Columbus, it was a bit "rough" then.

Right. There's an old post where Fusion was very "disapointed" with the quality of cars at Columbus.

I know the black '69 is a very nice car, and I doubt Foose would have his name associated with a sub par s-box.

That's probley the most amazing part about Scott.. he does this as a hobby and is not a full time builder..

The black one will be for sale soon.. I wonder if he sold the red one??

Im sure both the red and black car are wonderfully constructed cars. I just think the black one looks absurd with that wheel package and appears to be far too low for anything other than idling through the parking lot at a Goodguys show.

A bit too much Pro-Show for my taste.
