      JC Taylor

Hagerty's has recently changed thier policy. They use to give a price break at age 25 (I'm 25) they changed it now to 26. I am going to be 26 Jan. 22 and they want to almost double my rate until then??? I have a quote from JC Taylor to insure both Camaro's for only $469 a year I'm wondering if anyone has had good or bad luck with them.

On a side note I think it's pretty stupid for Hagerty's to lose a young customer over a couple of hundred dollars and 4 months. They could have had my money for the rest of my classic car owning days, but they are choosing to give my business to someone else over 4 months??

I used to have J.C. Taylor five years ago. They made good on a claim. Nice people to work with. The only reason why I switched is because they won't insure cars with roll cages. Now I'm with Condon & Skelly.

I have JC Taylor on my 68' Charger - so far no worries at all, very friendly service from what I have seen.

Thanks for the replies. I'm glad to here good things. I just can't believe that Hagerty's is willing to lose a live time of business over 4 months.
Oh well JC Taylor is cheaper anyway.

Ditch Haggerty as fast as you can!!!!! My brother-in-law had them for his Monte SS (got stolen on the power tour 6-9-05) He still hasn't been paid, and their underwriters are trying to cut his settlement by $12,000 of Haggerty's "agreed" value. Run fast, run far!!!

Sorry to hear about the bad news. If they were doing that to me I think I would be talking to a lawyer. I quess their little rate hike is a good thing since it will get me away from them. I hope they make it right and give you what you deserve for the car.
