looking for a media blaster in texas

looking for someone to media blast or maybe dip and coat my bare 69 camaro in tx. ive searched the net with no luck. preferably in the sa or austin vicinity. thanks for any help....gene

http://metalrehab.com/ is in Arlington. They use a biodegradeable product for dipping process. It is DFW area, but it is all I know of in the area. Rick Kirkendall(sp?)("rickk" is his handle) used them for his stunning white second gen Camaro.

If you search the discovery channel web site under the overhaulin section...goto Lance armstrongs poncho. The media blasting guys shop is listed there somewhere and they are in north austin.

thanks for the info guys, im real interested in the armstrong blaster since its only a couple hours to austin. trouble is i cant get the link to work. has anyone else tried it? i go to disc.>tlc>overhaulin>episode guide>armstrong and then click on it and wait for like 10 mins and nothing ever happens. someone else mind giving it a try....gene

Call Larry at 512-836-9322. He does the cars for Custom Car Crafters who painted Lance's car for Colvin. Larry quoted me $375 to blast the bottom of my 67 Camaro, and I think $1700 or so for a full car (inside fenders, doors, trunk, etc). He is a fun guy to talk to as well!

thanks for all the help on this one guys. i did call colvin this morning. they refered me to comercial services in austin. said they do media blasting for them. got a qoute from com.serv. to do my bare tub, in, out and under for 450. sounds plenty cheap!
