      the perfect muscle car?

I came across a car the other day called the Equus bass 770. At first I thought that's just a mustang copy and it sort of us, but then I realized if you could have a car that has the looks of an old muscle car but the power, handling, and technology of today's cars how great would that be? That's basically what the bass is, it has the body of an old fastback, a corvette engine, a charger front, and so on. It's a mix of all the greatest cars but with the addition of traction control, electronics and the like that the old cars dont have. I was all for it until I saw the 250,000$ price tag. So that got me thinking, what if you were to go the junkyard and pick up a 4th gen camaro or mustang, and put a 1rst gen body on it, then you would have all that stuff. So now I'm really interested in doing this. So here's my questions, get your glasses cause there's a lot and for the sake of matching, use the camaro as an example when answering...

      Has this ever been done?
Will the body of a 1rst gen car fit on the new frames?
How hard would it be to do?
Can the interior and dash of the new car fit in the old one? Will the parts be bolt on?(I seriously doubt it)
How much would it cost considering I'm doing 99% of the worm myself?
And finally do you guys thinks it's a good idea??
