Hey KM,you going to put the trim back around the 1/4 extensions and trunk lid??? I have been unsure as to put this back on mine or not. BTW your car looks and sounds super!!! What size rear tires are they?? I have 285-30-18 Dunlop 9090 for the rear of mine and yours look close.

I planned on putting the trim on...although now I wish I had filled the holes in the end caps so that I did not have to....The trunk lid is a NOS piece that come without the holes drilled...I guess it would be easy to fill and refinish the endcaps...hmmmm. I also did not fill the holes for the rocker panel trim and now I wished I had as well....I might even leave off the drip rail trim...

The rear tires are 295/35-18 and they are close. The right side fits great and seems to have lots of clearance but the left side is much closer to the fender lip. The right q-panel was repalaced 20 odd years ago and is the likely reason for the disparity. To fix I am going to machine 1/8" to 3/16" off the mounting flange of the wheel.



Have you driven your car yet with the 285's....any problems?
