Wilwood mast cyl PUSH ROD !!!????

Ok guys I'm installing a wilwood manual disc/disc master cyl. I previously had power disc/drum on my 72 nova. The push rod seems to be part of the booster??? So what push rod do I use to make this master cyl work??

When I converted my Monte to manual brakes, I used a universal kit from Jegs. Worked great for me.

Which p/n Wilwood master cylinder are you using? Many of the Wilwood masters come with a rod that has a threaded end. You would need a rod end or clevis to attach to the arm of the brake pedal. You should have two holes in the arm. You will want to use the upper hole with a manual master cylinder.

The Wilwood 1" and larger MC have a removable rod. The 7/8" MC has the rod attached permanently to the piston. You will need a 3/8" clevis to attach the rod to your pedal.

It may require a threaded rod connector if your clevis is the short style. They make clevises that are up to 6" in the slot so you shouldn't need a connector if you get the right length.
Install the master and then measure from the rod to the center of the top hole in the pedal and you can go looking for that clevis or coupler, threaded rod,and clevis.
Believe it or not you might have luck at an Ace hardware for parts.
