Been wiring like crazy, I would like to take the time and give a huge thank you and shout out to SJAROSLO aka Steve. The AAW is in and 90% complete. All thats left to wire is windows, alarm, EFI, stereo.

I've decided to run double batteries in the trunk, Kinetik HC600's for their small foot print. I'm not putting in a big stereo, simple 4ch amp with some 6.5" and 6x9's. For the price can't beat the Kinetik's.

Last night I ordered a bunch of stereo/amp wiring and connections, distribution blocks etc.



With the AAW harness and a Mini Starter (built in solenoid, works like the Ford fender mounted unit) should I still run a Ford style ignition solenoid in the trunk or under the dash? Trying to avoid a mess of wires.

Here's some new pictures. I was a roll once it came back from paint and then wedding season hit and it's been over a month, since then I haven't touched it.

Started with the dash and bits. It has to come back out to put the windshield in nicely.



Dakota Digital gauges, Ididit column, Nardi wood steering wheel.

In retrospect I wouldn't have bought a Ididit or Flaming River branded column. My friend got a no name one from Ebay and the quality/finish was the same for a fraction of the price.



New brake lines under the dash for clutch switch and brake lights. Going to keep it really clean under the hood. (don't mind the welding on the pedal brace, my left hand did it)



Time for the AAW install, I'm not the best when it comes to circuits so I appreciate all the help that everyone has given with various questions in the tech forums.



Wiring covered in tech flex, zap straps are temporary I wrapped all braches with electrical tape.



Running all the wiring for the front of the car on the outside, again keeping it clean under the hood. I used magdaddy magnets to secure the wiring to the aprons. I got some 12lb and 20lb magnets to keep things in place.



Stripping and wiring of the new/used dual fans out of a V6 Cougar. My friend made all the mounts to bolt on to the rad and a/c condenser as one unit.

I started to order some new interior pieces and got my new TMI one piece headliner and visors. I started building my brackets for the Recaro's with sliders.

Lots of wiring to be done, I finished up the passenger side for the lights and signals. I wrapped up most of the Vintage Air wiring. Just need to run a power source to the front for the fans.

Is that a nardi torino wheel? I had one on my car in japan and forgot to pull it off when I junked it. Your project is looking good!!

Yep, bought it a couple years ago, it's no 100% but it looks great and fits the car really well. Funny only my import friends know that wheel haha.

Time is the biggest issue right now, seems like any free time I have my fiancé is planning something haha. I ordered all the guts for the doors I will be working on that next.

Awesom build! Have a few questions. I too am putting wildwood pedals in my car and I am curious as to what exactly the "New brake lines under the dash for clutch switch and brake lights" whats a clutch switch? I got the wildwood prop valve with build in brake light switch for my car and my master cylinders will be behind the dash to clean up the firewall. But im really curious to what that clutch switch is and where your brake lines go. If you have pics that's even better!

Both cars are 1971 Jcode 429 shaker intake cobras, mine is 4 spd my father in-laws is automic. I wanted a fastback stang until i drove his car, he has had it since he was 16. he found mine while i was deployed and he was out hunting. now i just need to get home and start the resoration. I am doing a nut and bolt back to original.

this will be my resto mod pro-touring toy.
