Thank you for all the compliments. We are in the works of a rendering. Customer has color A.D.D on the body and keeps changing his mind but he is leaning on House of Color Candy Cobalt Blue. Chassis and and suspension parts will be House of Color Galaxy Grey. Interior of the car will be black,

All trim that will remain will be finished in brushed to match the lip of the wheels.

Sorry for the delayed response, but here are some update photos. We have made a ton of progress on the body, but there is still a ways to go.

We noticed there were some odd wear spots/indentations on the trunk lid; we think we figured out what they were from.

Let me know if anyone would like to see anything in particular and we'd be happy to oblige.

Oh and who could forget this beautiful paddle shifter.

Awesome build. It's nice to see an outside the box Mopar. I'm starting to research parts for '48 Plymouth couple build. What made you decide to use the nova clip? Any concerns on frame strength? I ask because the sub frame rails look a little thin.

Thanks for the compliment, to answer your question we did not use a nova clip, the IRS from Heidts was for a nova but it was the correct dimensions we needed so we ordered it up and installed it out back.

Ok. Can you tell me about the front clip? In the first post you say it's for an early nova but now you say it's not. Any concerns about frame strength? The front frame rails seem a little weak.

sorry about that its a typo ill have to correct it, the IFS is a heidts pro G for a 641/2-70 mustang. No concerns about frame strength . Also a core support is being fabbed that will bolt between the front rails.
