      You can make decent money doing art for the right clients. I bought my 77 Firebird, Hotchkis TVS Stage 2 kit and custom exhaust with about 60 hours of work. My whole project only uses money I make doing freelance illustration and design. Nothing from my day job as an art director is used. That keeps my wife happy and me motivated.

      Again, I wasn't meaning to be harsh and my thoughts weren't directed at any one individual.

      Project77- I'm in the same boat, my car was built by side job renderings and design, except lately it seems all the spare cash goes towards bills. How did that happen? lol!

      Nice work.
      I went back to working in oil. I will be trying some paintings of finished cars and try other forms of car art.
