      Wheels for ~$2000?

I know that this has been discussed before. I've read through several posts but it looks like some of the info is dated. I'm looking for a set of wheels for my 67 Firebird. I'm wanting to run 18x9 up front and 18x10 in the back (18x12 would be nice but I know that this would increase the cost). The car has been mini tubbed and I'm running the ridetech suspension up front (with TruTurn). I really like the Rushforth Rated X. So, I'd like to have something similar (multispoke with deep lips on the back). Is $2000 a reasonable budget for a set of wheels (no tires) or am I dreaming? Thanks.

I had a hard time finding anything out there in a 18x12 that would not take a giant spacer to fit front and rear. Then you spend a few hundred bucks on some nice spacers and by the time its all said and done you could have had a set of custom wheels built for the same price if not just a few hundred bucks more. With the money I am going to have in this car by the time its all said and done what a few hundred bucks more? Vintage wheel works or Team 3 wheels may be your best shot but design options are limited.

I've been looking at these, there around 1300 but not sure about the back spacing. i'm waiting for my car to be a little more complete before pulling the trigger:

Thanks for the input.... ~$2500 is the lowest price I can find for a set of wheels with powdercoated face. Bonspeed (with their current sale), ProWheels and ShowWheels are all similar in price. Does anyone have any recs in regards to which company to go with? Thanks.

Is there really a question? bonspeed has been manufacturing wheels since 1999 and is a sponsor of the site you are using.
Our quality and style innovation is what others follow. bonspeed has been promoting and supporting Pro-Touring since the beginning and long before many of the brands that have jumped aboard now that it is hot and popular.

I dont like the skinny spoke wheels on big muscular muscle cars, seems like a mismatch to me. Im always afraid the multi spoke wheels will look dated down the road but it really depends on the concept of the car. $2000 you should find something good, check wheel pros website, they are one of the biggest wheel distributors
