      GM Performance LS3 or Builder?

I can't decide on which way to go with my motor purchase. I want a turn-key setup and have looked at Scroggins/Jegs 525 hp crate motor that would run around $10K with motor, wiring, and oil pan. Other venders (I've looked at Texas Speed), can get a turn key set up with forged internals (I think) for $11-12K. The car is a 69 Firebird that will see track time on a 3.6 mile road course mainly and street time. I guess the main question is if the GM crate motor is going to handle what I throw at it and if the built LS2 is a little overkill. Any input would be great. Also trying to figure out which 5/6 speed, rear end, and fuel tank to go with.
