The stance in your pic will require more drop then 2/4 will give you. Although 2/4 will improve the handling a bit. I would recommend poly bushings in the front control arms and rear springs and add a rear stab bar.
What size tire/wheel are you running?
I did a 4/6 on my '95 with a flip kit in the rear (c-notch required) 2" spindles and 2" springs in the front. Poly bushings throughout and a Hellwig rear bar.

With 17's and 50 series tires the truck is a slot car. No body lean and good response to steering wheel input. The ride is a bit harsh do to all of the poly but it is worth it in the handling improvement.
