New Pics of My '88 SS

We had some beautiful weather here today in Jersey, so I took my 2-year-old son Anthony out for a spin in the Monte. Everytime I have the car out of the garage, he wants to play in it, and is constantly babbling about the "big car". He absolutely loves the sound of the motor winding out through 2nd and 3rd gear! So, here's a shot of him getting ready to go, and a few of the car too!

      Enjoy!

Looks really good. I especially like those wheels. Any idea on the backspacing?

Yep. They're 17x8s with 4" backspacing (aka. 0" offset). I'm running 245/45 Continental ExtremeContacts all around. After putting the combo together, I realize I could have fit 255s on them, but I wasn't sure how much room I'd have so I erred on the cautious side.

I got an 1987 olds cutlass supreme, same color as your car. The 17x8 on the front fit fine for you?

They rub very slightly on the inside of the fenderwells when the wheel is cranked all the way in. I'm also using B-body spindles, so they stick out about 3/8" further than the stock spindles on each side. I might try heating the plastic inner fender with my heatgun and persuading it to give me a bit more clearance. It's really fine for everyday driving though, the only time you even notice it is if you're pulling into a very tight parking spot.
