      The next fast and furious

Whiledriving over Monarch pass the other day I snapped this picture, after I got tothe bottom of the pass Mr. Google informed me that they were filming parts of thenext Fast and Furious in Colorado on both Monarch Pass outside of Gunnison and also at Pikes Peak outside of Colorado Springs. Yes that is not Vinny, but it is his stunt man.

      Pretty cool location.

Probably one of the same Charger carcasses used in the last 10 F&F movies.

I know the guy who builds the cars for the Fast series. Luckily, they only use cars that are swiss cheese and worthless for the props. It's amazing what some bondo and paint can cover!

yeah the special features on the blu-ray discs show a lot of the work that went into building the cars. Usually they build a solid one for driving around, the rest are stunt cars or 1-shot cars and are usually a mess held together by spot welds and paint. They never do say what they do with the cars when they're done filming tho. Im sure some are stored but it'd be nice if they had a yard sale or something. Good eyes 32duece!
