I think if the lines was brought up vertical a bit first, from where it comes out from under the cross member on the left side, and then bent again so it could then run parallel all the way along might be what needs to be done to satisfy you? Needs more supporting clips too.

Thank you for all the comments. Rear lines changed. If I do more, I have to buy more tubing. I know they're not real good but I haven't decided if I'll do more or not.

I'm staying home for a few weekends. There's lots to do whether I stay or leave. I made some clamps for the brake lines and the fuel lines today. I'll try to do better tomorrow.

Did a lot of work today with little results. Removed the fenders from the bed I'm not using. Put the engine in the frame and put it outside. The cab will come in and more work on it is next.

I did some small stuff today. The front end is aligned. The starter is on and oil is in the trans. Driveshaft and exhaust pipes are on. Front hangers are roughed in. The heat riser on the left manifold was a metric thread that I couldn't adapt to. I threaded it to 1/2" pipe and have a bushing to weld to the flare adapter. I have alot of mismatched body parts so I'm going to assemble everything before painting it. If time runs out, it won't get painted until next spring.

Little more today. The rear fenders fresh from the engine vat. The bed frame was sanded and primered. It's painted the same gray as the chassis.

I shot rust encapsulator on the floor of the cab where I'm not planning on painting. I welded up the short seams at the side of the top and the cowl.

I blasted the firewall and dash to remove the rust from sitting outside the last couple of months.

Firewall is painted to match the frame. The new to me box. It's way better than the one I have.

This update will really put you to sleep. I had to make new plates to bolt the door hinges to that fit in the cab. I removed as much of the original tar from the seams that I could without wasting huge amounts of time and put sealer back in. Break is almost over.

Trans tunnel blasted and epoxy primed. All the bare areas of the inside of the cab are blasted and primed.

Another small update. Several hours spent drilling and removing hinge pins. The pic is of the body side bolted to the new plates made last week. The others are what I think is the last rust repair on the doors and cab. It took about 20 minutes to find the new hinge pins that I put up last fall.
