holley 750 dp?

Hey guys,
I picked up a holley 750 dp with mechanical sec. Pretty cheap and would like some imput if i can get it to work with the set up im using with my 72 chevelle.350 sbc .040,214-234 ,.443-.465 @.050 cam i think 112 deg ,hei,edelbrock performer rpm manifold.1-5/8 long tube headers,2.5 exhaust,iron heads,th350 trans w/shift kit 2500 stall,current gears are 3.73.i would also like some ideas on what i need to buy or mod for autocross road race events.the chevelle is pretty much a toy so i will drive it on the streets but im going to use it more for the events.also im using a 650 afb,but was told not a great carb for what im planning on using the car for.thoughts?thank you.
