Yeah, I saw that this morning. There were 3 bodies in the Camaro and 2 in the older car. Not sure where the last body was. Both cars were right next to each other. Has anyone said if there is a sharp curve anywhere close to that lake?

I saw that. Both came up missing several years apart but shows up close to each other years later. Too coincidental to be a coincidence!! Also, missing in '70 with a 16 year old driving a car less than a year old, must've had some money in the family!!
Glad that there is finally "closure" for the families tho.

The familes have proven that the two people that went missing from the area were more than 5 years apart, so unless it was a Penta-Killer, then it wouldn't have been a Murderer, or a crazy guy with a black van, hockey mask, big bull bar and spiked hub caps...

Either way, sucks to see, doubt the cars would be restore-able.

I read multiple versions of this story, And people on Facebook debating too. It is a long 2 lane road leading to a boat ramp and like I said on FB people have been saying maybe they were speeding down the road and drove it into the water. While I can understand I would expect the cars to have some serious front end damage plowing into the water with speed.

Either way its odd and sad at the same time. They also cut the cars apart, One story I read said that the grandson of the man driving the 50's car and growing up would swim in that lake in the same general area throughout his childhood and recently had his kids there swimming having a good time.
