      1st Gen Camaro Subframe Choice - JRS/AME/DSE?

Since my previous plan fell through, I am looking at either the Art Morrison GT Sport, the JRS APEX C6, or the DSE HydroFormed.

Anyone have any pro's or con's between the three? I am leaning towards the JRS, but the AME looks good too.

Call Jake at JRS and talk with him, he can talk you through the benefits of his frame. If you want a frame for performance there's not a better one out there. I've had 2 of his frames and won't ever buy anything else

You should stop by Starlite Rod & Kustom in Torrance and check out my 67 Camaro. It’s got the Art Morrison C6 Sub with a solid sway bar and ZR1 hubs. Talk to Jack. Him and I ran the gold 67 you see in my sig.

Like Walt, I only have experience with the 1st Gen Camaro DSE subframe. I would buy it again without hesitation.

and engine is trans is mocked up on my buddies 69 dse subframe

its close so we are going to have to tilt the engine up some or mod the crossmember. chances are the crossmember will get flattened out.

the adapter will need to be turned the other way. currently its touching the headers

Overall the SW header clearance is amazing. they fit perfect in the subframe.

i dont think you could go wrong with most of the names on here.. but the DSE, AME, and JRS(which I like but I am a bit wary since lately hes had some bad publicity)
