Questions Before 1st time Fire on LS

On some of the HorsepowerTV episodes I've seen them use some sort of a pressure pump they hook air up to in order to pressurize the oiling system in LS motors before first fire up.

I highly suggest this. I would not spin the engine over to prime it (at least initially). I made my self a priming tool out of a garden sprayer.
