If you do not like the filter I can see how you can make a 45 into the inner fender area and place it another 90 degree's downward like the Anderson Ford Motorsport Procharger piece. I think you have plenty of room to so that and draw only atmospheric cool air. I think you can move it to where the shock towers were.

That might be the best option in the end. Cooler air might be necessary for the supercharger.

Looking good! Keep us posted! How do you like the TCP rear end set up? I've been impressed with what I've seen from TCP (not to be confused with TCI ;) But haven't actually installed any of their products.

I really like the total control products/chris alston chassis works systems. I have their rear pushrod coil over system and front coil over system in a 65 fastback and it rides and handles extremely well...no wheel hop at all. I've also used their canted G-bar system, but i did not get to put a lot of test miles on that Mustang before it was sold. I haven't run into any problems with installing their products...they bolt up as intended. You might also want to check out detroit speed. I hope to build a 65-66 fastback in the future with their front and rear suspension. They have some truly impressive products

I absolutely love this car. I am a huge mustang (and all fords) lover. Sorry to read about the problems with the engine cradle/front end set up. That rear end is truly impressive looking, it kinda reminds me of the newer ford gt suspension. I agree with you on the look of that air filter. Stellar job with the canted throttle body and piping for the intake but I think an air book would look better (maybe with a lower valance air scope to feed it, but I don't know if that would look to tacky or fit around the front engine drive and radiator, fits some cars and some it doesn't). I am wondering, maybe jumping the gun, but with the coyote engine is that a crate setup with a stand alone computer or is it sourced from something like a donor mustang. I'm just interested with the integration of engine controls if it was sourced from a donor car. With wiring harness prep to eliminate unneeded systems. But before this drags on congrats on the project and again I'm sorry for the hiccup well F$!&up TCI mistake you got involved with. Keep the progress coming subscribed.

The injection harness is a standard Ford harness that came off an engine with 900 miles. The Computer and computer harness are from Ford Racing and are stand alone...it comes with the pedal and standard air box as well. The Ford Racing system computer also has extra relays to control the fuel pump, electric fan thermostatically, and a relay for Air Conditioning. It's a really simple system to install...practically falls into place with only a few wires to integrate with the chassis harness. The wiring was a bit more complicated for my system since i used the Roush Supercharger, but still nothing advanced. I had a harness from a 2011 Mustang and I would not want to tackle "dieting" that harness.

She is finally running...video below. Roush and I had some miscommunications, so the computer was programmed wrong the first time, then it was reprogrammed correctly, but they forgot to take the PATS off. So, third time is the charm. All of that lead to a 3 month delay. Now I can finish up the rest of the mods and then strip the car back down so I can finish the engine bay and it can head to paint.

Video is in the next post.

Only the shorty headers are currently installed, so it miserably loud. Should sound great with spin tech mufflers though.
The radiator is made by griffin for mustangs to fear

i used a stock front runner system. I'll be using American power trains electric power steering kit. I see that late model mustang now sells a kit that allows the use of 4.6l drive system. Vintage air makes a nice kit as well
