Can I use 05 gto rear calipers on my 81 Camaro?
I have a pair of 05 gto rear calipers laying around. I want to do a rear disc brake conversion on my 81 Camaro and I was just wondering if anybody had tried to do that conversion and was successful. If any body was can you post pics and a parts list.

If you made a custom backing plate I'm sure you could. I mocked up a hybrid with a ls1 backing plate and gto calipers but they didn't seem to fit.

Pretty sure the calipers will bolt to Vette abutments and you can use any C5 Vette setup like Tobin at kore3 has. You moight can even redrill the brackets to use the GTO abutments.
