      Carbon Fiber Air Cleaner Top

GASP! I still run a carb on my 67. I'd like a carbon fiber air cleaner lid but the ones I find frmo Moroso and the like are "carbon fiber like" and not real. Save making one myself, does anybody know who makes one?

The proform is not real. The K&N one is but its expensive and I'm not real big on endorsing K&N. However, its the best looking one so far. The Camaro has a cowl hood and a big block so one of the NASCAR ones will not work. If you go to like RouschYates you can get all kinds of neat ex NASCAR parts like aircleaners. I've done a bunch of searching and I wind up with fake, NASCAR, and the K&N. The rest of the CF parts on my car are matte and that one would be perfect without the logo. Well, that and a $100 cheaper. Surely there must be one out there.

Making one would not be terribly hard but I fear I would waste $250 before I got it figured out. If anyone else sees something yell at me. I'd really like one in the "turned aluminum" circle track style.

All is not lost http://www.summitracing.com/parts/pr...0/media/images and it is real C/F (Proform sells the water transfer faux carbon fiber too)

I have the same one on my Camaro only difference is the red Bowtie
