      cylinder head choice HELP

      LOOKING TO BUY CNC HEADS. wich to use the build. 540 cu in 10.5.1 compression with a 119 chamber head. 736/714 lift 262/268@50 solid roller 1050 dominator and dominator intake. lemons 2 1/8 step tube headers. 3,500 -3.800 sthal t 400 410 gears . 69 camaro. now on to the buisness. AFR-OR-DART cnc heads if so wich ones for best all around performance.
      afr 335 or 357 ? they have 121 cc cmambers compression drop to 10.3.1 mill to 114 chambers loose a lil flow compression of 10.9.1 . dart 119 chambers 10.5.1 comp 335or 355 . dart seems to have a lil better flow numbers than afr but who knows and at this lvl does it really matter. what are some of you running on your big inch rat motor,s . wich head would you buy and why ? thanks guys

      We have a set of Dart 355's for 525ci BBC! BUt it isn't put together yet.....So I can't give an honest reply about how they work Although i have heard nothing but compliments on them and the heads look great!

      The Dart 335 cnc'd heads are a great fit on a 540" motor with that compression. We have done multiple motors with 335's (but more comp.) that put out 815+ HP. I think 355's on that motor may be a tad big.

      If this is a streetcar afr 315 is the best for your compression.For a track car go 335 and try to move compression to 11.1 this will keep port velocity high.Both cnc 335 heads are a toss up
