Glass or carbon premolded interior pieces?

I'm doing a 2nd gen Camaro that I bought without an interior. Does anybody make premolded door panels, headliner, trunk underside, rear seat sidepanels, or other? I have seen dashs and consoles, and I think front under dash closeouts, but nothing else...

Is this stuff available for a 1st. gen Camaro?

And what I'm asking for is just base fiberglass pieces that I can customize... not OEM replacement parts...

      Anybody?
So let me ask it this way then... all the custom upholstery shops will make their own pieces? Do they start with stock repop pieces? Can't glass or carbon pieces be made lighter and stronger?
Is the dimensional variance too great to make panels that can be trimmed to fit?

Im in a similar situation right now. In the next few years I am planning a COMPLETE restomod on a 69 camaro. (z06 IRS, Aluminum full frame, carbon fiber, ls7, ect ect...) Anywho, i would like to be able to create some custom carbon fiber pieces like a dash, center console, spoiler, bumpers, maybe door panes. not sure yet, but is there anything out there that can be used to create molds for me. Like a mix n pour plastic solution that i can paint on my dash so i can later peel it off and have a custom, somewhat stable, mold that i can use to create carbon fiber pieces??? thanks! sorry if this is somewhat of a thread jack, but maybe this is something for BROKEN to think about doing to his second gen.

Thanks, that Marquez door panel is an example of what I'm talking about, except they already executed a new design (which isn't too bad...). It would seem that builders with even minimal fiberglass experience, in addition to upholstery shops where time is money, would have some interest in a blank, semi fitted piece to start with and customize? No? Surely it would be faster to final fit a generic piece to your car, then move right into creating the custom design...
symoun52, that's basically what I have in mind for a 2nd gen... I just want to finish before I die, thus my interest in buying some of this stuff... ;-)

Just seems like the handful of people that really want that all custom look are going to do it themselves. A "semi fitted" piece would probably cause more of a headache than it would be worth.

You may be right... or more folks would go custom if they had a little help. But the $1000 question is if a mold can be made for, say the underside of the trunk, that will produce a universal part that will fit without a bunch of modifications. Is that possible? Or, a pair of front door panels that are designed to just fit the door, but have no provision for door handles, armrests, etc.? That would be a huge jump start on building your own, right?

It's really late and I'm pretty tired, so i apologize in advance if this doesnt make the most of sense. haha But I think we are kind of on the same page now about this. Doesn't anyone know of an aerosol or spray on "coating" that can peel off for a semi-rigid surface? I might just be crazy, but that would be an awesome product! Very similar to a spray in bedliner, maybe just spray the part with some PAM or assembly lube first ;)

Sooooooo, what are you wanting to do? Spray something that can be formed into a temporary mold surface? Or just protection?
