My blower motor whines as if there is a problem with the motor itself or there is something metal scraping against the fan. Cant figure out what it is. It worked fine one summer then I put the car in the garage for some upgrades and when I got it back on the road, I had this noise. Its pretty loud. I had Jack listen to it while at the Lonestar GG last fall and he said "Oh Yeah. there is definitely a problem. Take it off and look for the obstruction and if its the motor, call me and we'll replace it." Well... how do you get the motor off without taking the entire evap unit off the firewall? I really dont think I left it possible to remove the evap without removing the dash. Anyone have any photos of how the blower motor detaches. From the front side, it looks like there are 3-4 screws. Is it the same on the back side?
Thanks

Not sure if this helps. But here are some pictures from a Gen IV for a 67 Camaro. There are 3 screws on the passenger side and three screws on the firewall side.77120771197712077119
