Does anybody know the correct hub centric ring to use when mounting a BMW wheel on a 68 Camaro? I'd like to get these ordered so they'll be here when my wheels come in.
Thanks!!

That would depend on what you're mounting them to...factory drum hubs? OE discs? Something aftermarket? The most common BMW center bore size is 72.5mm if I recall correctly, where the standard GM wheel pilot dimension is 70.5mm for the older application, 70.3mm for the newer ones. I take it you're not accounting for the 5x120mm wheel pattern mismatch?

Yes sir - I bought a set of PCD correction nuts but want to make sure the wheel is properly centered. The sizes you listed are the same as I found elsewhere. I was looking at the front hubs on my car tonight - they're the billet Wilwood hubs so they are not a consistent diameter. I need to buy a caliper to I can measure it both front and rear hubs so I can get it right.

The Wilwood hubs have a tapered snout and are not intended for hub-centric wheel fitments.

What wheels did you buy?

I bought a set of Beyern "5"'s - hope I didn't make a mistake! Guess I'll know tomorrow.

It will be tricky with the Wilwood hubs. You could make a custom tapered hubcentric ring.
But frankly it would be best to redrill the wheels or get a set of hubs that has the correct bolt pattern.

I fit one of them last night and spun the wheel around. I didn't see any visible wobble. I'll feel better when I can get the PCD correct nuts to see if I can get the wheels properly centered on the front hubs. If not, then a call to Wilwood is in order to see if they can do a custom drilled 5x120mm hub.

@Geoffp were did you buy the corrective lug nuts from been searching for months .yours or any other member response would be greatly appreciated thankI bought them through eBay from an overseas vendor. They were expensive. What's bad is that I didn't end up using them at Wilwood's request. Their technician told me they are not necessary as long as the bolts are kept torqued. I have checked the torque several times and found no loose lugs (so far).

Thank u i will finally get to put my rims on ,did you use stock lugnuts or aftermarket ..one more question .was there any different material used to make ur lug studs from a factory stud on 1994 sonoma that u know off

I used aftermarket lug nuts. My car has 1/2" studs front and rear. I am fairly certain all 4 wheels have ARP studs. I know the fronts do because they are screw-in ARP studs provided by Wilwood with their hubs. The rear came from Moser already pressed in with the axles I bought for my car.

So how do lugnuts change the variation in the diamter of the stud bolt pattern?

PCD corrective lug nuts have a captured washer that is the cone end of the lug nut - this washer end nut allows for minor bolt circle variations.
