      RSX seats

Got a local guy that has a couple of RSX seats cheap. 200 bucks cheap, in pretty good shape. Think they are worth getting for eventual use for autoXing? They are black leather of course..my interior is BriteBlue..lol

What do I do with the air bags that are in them?

My buddy has an RSX and they don't hold me in at all, even when he ends up driving a little briskly. I am a pretty skinny guy - but I still am not convinced they would be the best for a race application.... There is not much leg support and the torso support is almost non-existent. $200.00 does not seem like a lot of money now, but after your first race day and you have to replace them anyway that will be $200.00 just sitting in your garage. If budget is a concern I would look for a set of used Recaros from an Evo, they can commonly be found for around $250-300 on ebay and craigslist and even come in blue. A seat just has so much to do with driving feel and the whole experience. Everyone's backside is different, just my 2 cents.

I got a set of Acura seats a couple of years ago, can't remember what model, with air bags. They are tall but work well.I just removed air bag wires from system. Most everyone asks if they are sparco.

Leave the airbags in the seats, why would you remove them?

I have seats from a Tiburon in the Cutlass, and I just zip toed the wire for the side airbag out of the way. In case I ever sell them, they still have a functioning airbag.
