line lock ?'s

i have a line lock that i am planning on installing in my car. my question is can it be installed between the master cylinder and the distribution block? im not sure how the dist. block works, if its all open on the inside and works on pressure, or does the line feeding the rears from the MC only affect the rears and same with the front.
im curious because it would be so much easier to make up lines that went from the MC to the solenoid and then back to the dist. block as opposed to "t" ing off after the block to go to the solenoid and then again to get bak to the brake lines. thanks

Ive seen them plumbed the "other" way and fluid ends up shooting out of the master from the opposite reservoir. If there was an easier way it would probably be in the instructions.

Its not too hard to do it you can get all you need at your local speed shop, or summit, they sell a complete instal kit for around $25.
