Making the LS plunge since I torn up the LT4 I was running. I have been looking where others have mounted the corvette filter / regulator. I don't have much room on the right side rear frame rail with exhaust, shocks, etc. The two areas I was looking at were: Making a bracket on the front side of the fuel tank and mounting it on the bracket. I believe Camaro X had that. The other location was above the axle.
Any thoughts? Heat problems?
Thanks for the input.

I'm doing the same swap in my '67 Camaro. Right now I have a Holly Black fuel pump above my axle, but will be going with an in tank pump for the LS. I was planning on putting the new regulator in place of the old fuel pump.

Here's a couple shots of how/where my old pump was mounted, not the best pics, but it'll give you an idea:

I have a fuel filter currently in that same location and have thought about installing this filter/regulator there.

I welded a 1"x1" 1/8" wall piece of steel tubing To the drivers side gas tank mount, and tapped it for the screw. The picture is just mock up mode, I used fuel injection clamps.

it might not help you if your still running leaf springs but I mounted my filter where the spring pocket used to be.

Thanks for the additional ideas. I'm still running leafs with mini tub / narrow rear end. I did consider mounting it on the outside (exterior) portion of DSE frame connectors as the lines run toward the front of the car.
