I'll take a set just like the one above!!! Great looking wheel! If you want a test car I'm all over it. Plus I have a photo shoot coming up in the next month or two for my car to get into MM and FF.

Haven't seen anything yet. Maybe we can ask Ben Hermance to make a rendering for us.

What is the main difference between this Grip Rebel and the very similar Concave RBC3 series?

Not a good idea, I think you would be better served sending me a promo set and we get some nice pics on my car
Even with my car in a bunch of pieces you could say,
"these wheels are so nice that even this pile of scrap metal looks good."

What is the main difference between this Grip Rebel and the very similar Concave RBC3 series?
Well, they are both 10 spoke wheels designed for flat reverse lip rims. But the RB3C has a longer spoke with a directional twist in the spokes. They are also different at the bottom of the spoke where it meets the rim register. And the lug centers are different; on the RB3C, the lug holes reach out beyond the center recess.
You have to look closely to see the details. Here are a few comparison shots.

Ah yes...both are art work......
Can you still get the deep concave on the narrower fronts? I see many examples of guys who opt for a flatter look on the fronts. I like the concave but don't want to lose it on the front. Like maybe a 9" wide wheel?

Just depends on your car and what it can fit. The concave profile obviously pushes the end of the spoke outboard from the hub surface. So if your hub surface is already close to your fender, then a deep concave profile will be sticking out beyond the fenders. If the hub is far enough inboard of the fenders, then you probably have room for the concave profile.
If you're using a narrow outer because you don't have much space between the hub and the fender, then you probably don't have room to squeeze in the deep concave center either (unless you want to stick out beyond the fenders). Of course, you can always widen your fenders, and then you can fit whatever you want.
The graphic below hopefully illustrates this. Two wheels with the exact same backspacing and overall width, one with a flat profile and one with a concave profile. See how the end of the concave spokes push out so much farther toward the fender? In this example, we made up the difference with the width of the outer. But if you are already using a small outer, then where do you find this extra space?

On the first gen Camaros the BS is close to mid point with a 8 inch wheel? Can the concave work on the front of a first gen using a 9" and say a 5 inch BS??

We can do a 9" wheel with a 5" BS. The hub length is going to determine the amount of outer lip you will have. An example would be if you had C6 spindles, we could do the 9" @ a 5" BS and the outer lip would be 2". If your running a stock spindle, the same wheel with the same specs would have a 1" lip.
Both examples are based on using the flush Forgeline engraved cap. If you were to use the optiional cap that protrudes out, you could increase the outer lip by at least 1/2 inch.

Those examples are with the full concave?
Have you sold this wheel to any first gen owners? Gosh I have to see this before I could pull the trigger.

Both examples are with the deep concave center (pictured above). The Grip line is relatively new and we do not have as many photos of actual builds as we obviously do for Forgeline. I will request a rendering from Ben.

Just got this photoshop from Ben. Grip Equipped Rebel on a '69 Camaro. Shown with a stepped lip outer.

Looks great, I notice those have the stepped lip. Is that right? I have already talked to a distributor about these. I am not quite ready for the wheels in my build yet, gotta get the trunk and tubs finished. But I am seriously interested.

Yes Ben did the photoshop with a stepped lip. I don't know if he did it on purpose or as a fluke. Technically the Rebel is designed for a reverse flat lip, but we can also make it in 19 and 20 inch diameters in a stepped lip. So either way works (unless you want 18s).

No problem. We'll be here, whenever you're ready! :)

TD Performance in Cincy.
I am looking at 18s in front and 19s in back. Does that make a difference? Got any shots of the wheels with the stepped lip?

Yes we can only do 18s in the reverse flat lip. No stepped lip in 18s.

Just Ben's Camaro rendering. We haven't built any for real with the stepped outer yet.

What is delivery after an order is placed?

What is delivery after an order is placed?
Generally we plan on about 4 weeks. We just got 2 new (to us) machines up and running (1 four axis mill and 1 large lathe), so at the moment, we are doing a little better than 4 weeks, on most sizes. And at certain times of year, we try to give priority consideration to the Grand Am teams (when they're all in a rush to get wheels before Daytona - usually January), so this often bumps us out to 6 weeks.
If you plan on 4 weeks, you should be fine. I'll let you know if there needs to be an adjustment to that, for some reason.

I guess that is just for the machined wheel centers? Are the wheel hoops all a standard in stock item that is pieced together once the centers are done? If so could an order to be started before the BS's are known?

You've got machining, finishing, assembly, testing, and packaging. And if anything fails inspection along the way, then it gets redone. But it all takes time.
Are the wheel hoops all a standard in stock item that is pieced together once the centers are done?
Usually. That is the goal at least.
If so could an order to be started before the BS's are known?
No because your final dimensions are going to affect how much we machine off the pad on the center. I mean, you can place your order whenever you want, but we're not going to put you in line and start cutting anything until we know all of the dimensions.
