hey guys.....does anyone have experiences with manual valve bodies in TH350's?.....my TH350 is getting rebuilt with some goodies.....i will be doing alot autocross events and few road course events....looking for precision shifts and full control....whats the difference in reverse vs standard shift patterns? Who makes the best manual valve bodies?..any info is appreciated...

A transgo stage 3 kit will make an excellent fwd pattern 350 manual..tic,transmission specialties coan all make rev. Manual valve bodies.the transgo 3 kit still uses the modulator to contol line pressure and the rev. Valve bodies eliminate the mod. Greg

forward shift pattern is just that push forward to go up one gear, reverse is the opposite, pull back to go up one gear, i have a JW manual VB in my th400 in the forward pattern and it performs as intended, not really sure if one VB is better than another but i prefer JW stuff as it has work flawless for me for years.

been looking at that kit....kinda leaning towards it since it retains the modulator....what do they mean by "converts back to automatic"?.....thought its full manual control....

When you install the manual kit,you can easily remove the spring clip you install on the governor and convert it back to auto. Greg
