      Quick Carpet Question

Looking at ACC carpets on rock auto. what is everyone's current carpet of choice? One of these or something else?

ACC Part # 235879CUTPILE CARPET WITH CONSOLE; MOLDED
      • Cut Pile carpet is similar to what is found in most domestic vehicles since 1974.
      • In some cases, its pile height is not as high as OEM.
      • Our nylon cut pile is constructed from 100% first quality Dupont yarn.
      • It is tufted on a 1/8 gauge machine with 14 ounces of yarn per square yard.
      • It is dyed using the finest dyes available and tested for ozone, humidity, fading & light fastness.

ACC Part # 235879ESSEX CARPET WITH CONSOLE; MOLDED
      • Essex carpet gives your interior a plush, luxurious interior.
      • This 100% nylon cut pile carpet is manufactured with over 40% more nylon fiber than our standard Cut Pile.
      • It is dyed using the finest dyes available and tested for ozone, humidity, fading & light fastness.

both appear to be 1 pc molded carpets.

      thanks-
      Scott from NJ.

I'm not sure about the model #'s since mine went in a '67 Camaro, but I went with ACC Cutpile Molded carpet. The color was 801 Black (801 is cut pile, 601 is loop). I ordered directly through ACC.

Essex and Cutpile are styles. Essex is a super plush version of the cut pile. Cut pile is what is in modern cars. Loop is the stuff they used in the 60's.
