Well, I got the 18" Cadillac spare tire kit in.
The wheel is awesome!!!!!
Although, I do like that the GTO jack kit comes with 2 tire chocks.
I am going to try and incorporate them into the Cadillac spare kit.
I just need to mount the tire and order the adapter and I will have an awesome 18" spare.

The info I have collected from the web is that this wheel should be a 5 x 4.53 bolt pattern.
Turns out it is 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern which makes it lug centric on the Kore-3 hubs, but not hub centric.
The hub opening needs to be machined out to fit.
I think I will see if a local machine shop can make it hub centric too. This way, no spacer or adapter.

What cadillac is this from? The CTS-V?

The bolt pattern should be 5x120mm as that is what the CTS-V hubs are.

Yes, this is for the CTS-V. I obviously found wrong info. Good news for me though, now I don't have to get an adapter.
I just have to get the hole bored out to match the hub.

Paul,
So this is a complete kit? Can you post the part number of the kit please?

Yes, it is a complete kit Steve,
Here is a picture of the other little things that come along in the kit.
I got it from gmpartsdirect.com
It's part # 19179359 (tire kit).
Took about 2-1/2 weeks to get.

So what is the OD of the tire once mounted? Are there optional tires to match different ODs?

Thanks Paul!
This is a solution for a spare that I did not know even existed.

carguykeith - The od of the tire alone is about 25-1/2", I havn't mounted it yet. This is a spare tire only, it comes only one way as far as I know.

Steve - No problem, eveybody kept telling me to not run a spare and get AAA.
I wasn't satisified with that. I don't like the idea of being stranded on the side of the road waiting for someone else to come save me.
The Corvette and Camaro guy's have been using this wheel with an M&H frontrunner racing skinny for years.
I figure if it works for them it should work as a spare for us.

Thanks for the reply, if you could please measure once it's mounted or even better would be the actual circumference via the wrap a string and measure it method. Maybe going with a racing skinney would be another option (just trying to match the rear OD to save the post).

I'm going to try and get over to Cadillac tomorrow and have it mounted.

Just realizing that I can't mount the tire until the center is bored out.

No worries the snow starts here in a month and I'm pretty sure I can make it that Long anyways. Whenever you get a chance to update this thread is cool with me.

Now that the car is on the road I figured I better get busy getting the spare to fit. Got the center enlarged so it will fit over the hub.
Then took the tire & wheel over to Cadillac and they mounted it for free. Now I don't have to wait for the flatbed to come get me for a flat tire.

Hi Marty,
You have 4 of the 18" Cadillac CTS wheels?
That must have set you back quite a piece of change.

Actually I have 2 at my warehouse and Kenny has the other 4 with the car. But I got mine from a GTO

Tobin over at Kore-3 turned me on to the 17" GTO wheels at first but told me they would fit over the rear Z51 brakes but not the front. That's when I found the 18" Cadillac wheels. They are the only ones to make an 18" spare in a 5 lug pattern. The 2 18" ones you have must be from a Cadillac. Nice score.

Good info - thank you.

It looks like we have the same brake set up so I must have all 18's

This is good info, but keep in mind that the spare tire is fairly short. If you ever had to run this tire on the rear, there is a good chance that a clutch style limited diff would burn up in short order. I can't speak for other types of diff. Just something to keep in mind.

Andrew

From memory it's 26" tall and the 335 35 18 is 26 tall also so this should work great if the spare is 26" tall

This is a full size spare Andrew. The outside diameter is the same as the 275/40 I'm running in the back at about 25-1/2".

Yes Marty, we have the same brakes. Awesome kit.
