Hello all,

I'm new here as most of my cars retain stockish looking equipment but my 15" rally II tires/wheels are about done. I like the rally II look but i want to go to a slightly bigger wheel. Right now i am running 15x6 or 15x7 OEM wheels with 225/70-15 tires all the way around. Everywhere i look, everyone says this is the place to ask. Tubular suspension all the way around with better geometry up front but stock non adjustable everywhere else. New eibach springs (about 1" drop) and bilstein shocks all the way around.

I'm thinking of going to 16" rally II wheels from wheel vintiques or 17" rally II cast wheels from year one:

My question is, how can i know which width and back spacing to run? I see suggestions but not many pics at all to see how it'd look. I'd like some meat in the back, i'm putting out about 500 ft lbs and 450HP. I'm thinking the 17x8 on the front and 17x9 on the back? I'd do 16's on the front like the pic below i really like, but can't find any brand that makes their rally II clones in 16" and 17", and i hate to mix brands as i'm sure colors or something would be off. (to preserve some more stock looking sidewall height and give a little back to front rake, i do like the 16s).

As far as tire height, i could go a little shorter in the back, i wouldn't mind ADDING a couple hundred RPMS at highway speed (i have 3.45 and OD, so 2200 rpm is like 75 mph) but i want the wheel well to look at least as filled as stock, and not so much rim that their tucked in the wells (like an 18" would be on the abodies)

I've searched here and read a lot, but without pictures (1000 words and all) i can't see if what someone else thought looked good, will look good to me.

So, pro-touring gurus, how should i proceed to get a look as close to the pic below from the side, and as fat as reasonably expected in the back (doesn't have to be rediculous drag car wide, just an inch or so wider than my current tires would be great.) I don't mind doing the same size all the way around, i want to corner tight but i'm not autocrossing or anything.

also, here are the tire specs on that car. I've HEARD but don't know, that the 71-72's have a little more room for wheel clearances:

"Putting the power to the ground is a custom set of Rally II wheels, 16x8 inches in the front and 17x10.5 inches in the rear. They feature 4.5 inches of backspacing in the front, 6 inches in the rear, and mount P225/50ZR-16 and P255/50ZR-17s Bridgestone tires.

I can't find the 17's with 6 inches BS and 10" wide, the Year ones would be close though. WV does them in 16's to match what he has on the front but don't do 17"s for the back that would match.

I prefer the YO with the machined lip that looks like a trim ring but isn't one.
