Problem with brown wire to light switch. Blows fuse.

Does anyone know what the brown wire in the light switch on a 69 camaro goes to. I have a problem with fuses blowing when you barley pull out the light switch. I cut the brown wire and the fuses does not blow anymore. Is the brown wire only for the front side markers or does that wire go somewhere else. Somewhere it is grounding and shorting out and blowing the fuse. I am not very good with the computer but I will try and find your reply. In the mean time my email is [email protected]. After 5 hours of looking I found a screw that was grounding the brown wire. Repaired the wire and got rid of the screw. Sorry that no one had any suggestions. Trial and error worked. Thanks anyway.
