Detroit Speed uses the Formula 43 RADS5. With sculpted spokes to reduce weight and exclusive spin form technology for rim shell strength Formula 43 wheels are a winning combination!

Our current line up starts at 18".

DSE has been running Formula 43 wheels for some time now. We manufacture all of our own parts, including the rim shells in our plant just outside of Detroit.

If I'm looking right, that Michelin is a 275 on the front of that mustang, that's huge for that model! Is that a 9 or 9.5 inch wide wheel?
I had noticed the way you make your barrels, the bead design really helps with some tires like my continental slicks that run very low pressures, keeps the tire in place. Great designs!

Thanks for the positive feedback. We have about 90% of the manufacturing process in house for our wheels. Being able to manufacture our rim halves using our exclusive “German Spin-Form” technology and having the ability to make changes quickly as we learn more about our product with feedback we receive from DSE and Pro-Race teams is a big advantage for us. Many of our competitors, whom do not manufacture rim halves, can only make changes to the center section.
