I've searched here and on LS1Tech.com without coming up with an answer. Installing a Moroso oil accumulator in my '77 Camaro, and I planned to use the sandwich adapter, but it puts the lines almost up against the headers (modified 4th gen. Pacesetters). Thought about using a remote oil filter, but the lines would still be very close to the headers. Any other techniques for plumbing an accumulator? Or should I just wrap the lines in some heat wrap?

I'm not sure on the ls1, but on the LS7 there is an oil plug on the drivers side of the block at the front near the motor mount. (hex key plug) There is another plug on the passenger side by the starter.

another idea is to run an oil cooler and "t" it into those lines, the oil cooler is in the pressure loop.

One other thought, can you put a "t" in where the oil pressure sensor is at the back of the intake? That is a pretty big port at least on my motor.

Thanks! I'll look into both of those ideas!
