      Momo steering wheel

Has anybody used this one. It's a Momo Jet Black, 13-3/4". Looking for some opinions on the size and feel.

In for responses. I've been thinking about getting a Momo wheel too. The cf on that one might match my gauges well

I have it sitting in a box at home and soon to be mounted. Very nice piece and feels good in my hands. Some feel the diameter is a little small but until my car is on the track I can't comment on that...

If I remember correctly, it is. Mines actually the cheapest Momo wheel (Devil or something similar), and isn't full leather, but it feels great.

EDIT: If you look around on eBay, you can find them hugely discounted.

I have one just like it and I love the way it feels. Not too small or large and the ergonomic details work out great.

This is the same wheel that I'd like to use on my car ('70 GS), too! Should fit & function just the same in your Camaro, Go For It!

Has any one had problems connecting the horns with these wheels? I bought the Trek and the recommended 2401 hub adaptor for my 69 GTO, and the wire does not fit the connection to the column for the horn. The instruction for installation were pretty weak to say the least. I'd appreciate any help. The wheel has a great feel, and while its a little small the styling and feel are worth it.

Are you talking about the male & female ends?
The Momo horn has 2 male ends and the hub has a male and female end.

My steering wheel and hub adaptor came with two wires. One is yellow, 6" long and has a female connector on both ends. The other is black, also about 6" long. It has a female connector on one end that looks to go to the seering wheel horn button. The other end had a red fitting that is tube-like. It looks like it should slip over the white protruding horn connection in the OEM steering wheel column. However it does not slip over it, they are the same size.

You should have a wire with a spring and plastic clip that slides into the white tube on your steering column. Like this.

Nope, didn't get any wire with a spring on it. What I got was a wire that is the same on the non-spring side, and then it has a red piece similar to the black piece crimped on. No spring, and the red piece wouldn't slip into the plastic horn reciever in the column anyways since they are the same diameter. Did you get this piece with wheel or the hub adaptor? I bought hub adaptor 2401 for GM 69 and up. Which hub adaptor did this come with?

Not sure why I didn't get this specific wire with my hub adaptor, but I have found a way around it. Again, I have a 69' GTO, so maybe this will work for other GM cars, maybe not. I have the original and most common steering wheel, tripod look, that cam with Pontiacs. When you take the wheel apary there are wires that go around to the 3 horn button locations on the wheel, and it terminates into a double wire that goes into the sleeve that friction fits into the horn post thats ins the coulm. past this friction fitting is a spring a nd terminator that looks just like the one APS 63 posted above. I cut of the red peice on the wire I got from Momo, and then 4-5" up from the friction fitting on by stock wheel and soldered them togther. I put the wheel on and the horn works perfect. It's simple fix, but I wish Momo had better instructions and the right wiring with, since my original wheel is now not usable with out buying new parts.
Thank you to APS63 who took the time to help me and post pictures!

      No problem Rebel 6,
I would have been happy with crappy directions from Momo instead they choose not to send any with their wheels.

I had no problem with the horn either. It's kind of self-explanitory.
I would have run into the same problem if ididit had not supplied the wire & spring.
