Has anyone ever done this before vintage ac with a blower motor

Ok I am building a show car 67 camaro just about everything is custom on it and hopefully it will make its debut at SEMA this year what I am wanting to know is if I can run a vintage air setup with the weiland 671 supercharger on a 454 I know it's not really practical but it's a show car I probably won't put 100 miles a year on it I am just building it to have a little bit of everything on it any input will help me I am also wondering how hard it is to use the dakota digital ac controls with it as I have a sponsorship with them and would like to support thanks guys

I think someone machined ¼ of the main brace and then added the stainless plate with idler pulleys. I plan on doing something like this too. Hope it helps

Dont you run 671's on a separate crank pulley? I thought they were all cog driven

Eric, that setup is a BilletSpecialties TruTrac that Edelbrock adds another bracket to and a couple of idlers.

And yes, a 6-71 will run off of a gilmer belt that is separate from the rest of the belt drive. Typcally you will need a three groove crank pulley and run v belts for AC, power steering and an alternator. Then the blower would run on its own in front of all of that.
