      C5 brakes and TTII's

I searched around and cat really find the answer I need. All I found was that the TTII's wont clear the C5 brakes. Does anyone know how much of a spacer is need to clear the spokes from the caliper?

im running a 5/16" spacer on my 84. Works fine. Just make sure your lugs are real tight...torque to 95 ft lbs.... Is this Les from Buttonwillow?

I believe 17"ers or larger will fit as long as the offset is negative. You could just get FSL 4 piston wilwood calipers for $130 that are gauranteed to fit.

Nope, Im Bill form Byron, IL. My Les is short for Lets.

I'm looking into the AR 205's for my car, and im on a pretty tight budget. So I might have to go the spacer route to get the clearance. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt going to be a huge amount of contact i was going to have to deal with.

      Thanks for the replies guys.

Do you have a link to these calipers at this price?

Look anywhere - speedway motors, Summit, Jegs...

Wilwood forged super light clipers. They're 4 piston with a 3.5" mouting pattern.

Will these Wilwood calipers fit directly where the C5 caliper mounts? Or are there more bracket involved?
      thanks,

I don't know. I don't have them, but I'd assume you just need to drill holes closer together on the C5 brackets. There certainly could be a lot of differences as far as hight and depth requirements for the mounting.

Well if your already fabing brackets for C5 calipers it cant be that hard to change them a bit. I jsut need to figure out ho to mount the rotor since I'm not to clear on that.
