Hi!! I'm new to the forum, but have been lurking around here for the last year or so....Anyways I saw a lot of you guys doing the C5 conversion so it amde me want to do it also on the front of my 67 Camaro. I'm going to get the kit from touring classics I think, but I can't figure out what proportioning valve to use with the conversion. My car is drum\drum right now, if that matters.
I've searched 19 pages and can't find a definate answer!!

Thanks,

Cody

Welcome to the site.
Being a 67 I don't think you have a prop valve right? Its just a distribution block?
What are you running in the rear?
You can try a stock one out of a 69 or 70.Remove the plunger and run an adjustable valve. If you have problems finding one, try one from an 84-87 disc/drum Camaro. They work fine and you won't need an adjustable unit. If you get one from the wrecking yard don't forget the tube nuts.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I guess it is just a distribution block, i forgot about that..
The car has drum in the back right now, but I've got a set of c5 calipers for the rear too but it will be a while until i can get everything rounded up to do the conversion on back to...
Thanks for the help!

I think you should be fine with the stock block, most prop valves just reduce rear line pressure. You might want to look into master cylinders if you do just the fronts for now.
