Many of you are familiar with the C5 brake upgrade for the 2nd gen. It has been getting tough to find these calipers at the bargain price they once were offered at used. We now have 2 new options for our C5 kit, that utilze the same 13" rotor and 2 piston calipers. We now make brackets to bolt the 98-2002 Camaro (LS1) calipers to our C5 kit, which offers a bit more clamping force due to bigger piston sizes. We also have a bracket to use the 1500 Truck caliper as well. This caliper is Iron, but can be found very cheap, and has the greatest amount of clamping force, over the Camaro and corvette rotors. We have test fit the parts and they will be ready in about 2 weeks

How about a bracket for the 04 GTO calipers-many guys upgraded to 05-6 calipers/rotors so they are around? Got one set myself. Or a bracket for the "hybrid" using C4 rotor with more offset for wheel clearance.

How do the LS1 and truck calipers compare in size to the C5 calipers? I think I would need to run a small spacer with the C5's on my 17 inch Vintage Wheel Works V45's which I would rather not do if something else will work.

Thanks
Jay

This is for the 12.8 C5 setup I assume> Anything for the 13.4 Z51?

I had wondered why people didn't use the truck calipers in these swaps, they are a better caliper than the vette ones.

Has anyone used the truck calipers yet?

We have some brackets around for the truck caliper to fit with the C5 13" rotor. CPP used this in some of their kits. Keep in mind it's big and cast Iron, it's meant to stop a truck! Anyway if anyone wants some conversion brackets let me know, they are $20 pair

Wonder about brackets or drum in hat to use the 1500 rear disc calipers on 10/12 bolts? Just redrill a rotor for 4 lugs?
