Don't want to take advantage of the emergency thread but this is an emergency as far as time goes...

I'm cranking away to get my car together to move from Utah to Georgia and I'm already behind schedule and need to leave asap. I finally got the front suspension completely together and I need a wheel spacer to make things work right. I called Motorsport Tech in Nevada and they said they're 10 days build time and 2 day ship. Trouble is I need them at my door within 6 days, by Weds the 16th of May. I'm open to paying a rush fee if need be.

PLEASE let me know who you've bought spacers from, I need options quick!

My specs (Motorsport Tech deals in mm) -

1979 Olds Cutlass G-body wagon

Hub-70.6 mm dia.
Wheel opening- 78.0 mm dia.
Spacer thickness- 9.5 or 10 mm thick

Thanks for any help!!!

Ben, did you get the rears I sent you yet?

Here's where I got them from. If you give him a call, he might be able to do them real quick.. I know he shipped mine out the same day...

Cut down some old brake rotors with the same bolt pattern, they are usually about 1/4" thick, this would be the fastest way in my opinion.

Here's what I came up with for a pair of slip on spacers-

Motorsport Tech- Hub and wheel centric- $90 regular order, 12-14 days. Rush order = +$75, $165 total, 5-7 days.

Fred Goeske- $100 without wheel centric lip, $150 with. He's making AND shipping them out today, sounds like this is typical turn around time and not a rush order.

Both companies claim US made of high quality billet and are custom built to your specs, not the cheap Chinese knock offs you get from ebay.

All in all if you can wait Motorsport Tech is a little cheaper, http://www.motorsport-tech.com/

If you want 'em fast Fred is the man, http://www.wheeladapter.com/

Thanks again TonySS, you've just relieved a bunch of stress! Man, I love this forum!

Mods- you can prolly move this to the wheel thread section for future use. Thanks!

I personally know Fred. I drive past his shop everyday on the way out to my Gator pond. Hes the real deal. Retired Rocket Car driver. Gear head all his life.

I know the Pepboys by my house started carrying wheel spacers in their speedshop. Its worth a try if you have one local.

If you're not driving it and just need them to push the car around you can stack washers on the studs

Yeah, after I got used to his accent and could understand him, (lol!) he's real nice and easy to deal with. He started making them right after we got off the phone, before I even got onto Paypal and paid him. Within about 2 hours I had a shipping confirmation number emailed to me. Now that's what I call service!

Thanks for the other ideas fellas.

Yea, hes a one man band there. Its funny because he has a pretty big shop, he can probably fit 30 cars in it and he is pretty well equipped to fab a car from scratch but the past 10 years the only machines he uses are the ones he uses for the spacers.

Yep Fred is a great guy... I bought a second set of spacers from him. Yes you can find them cheaper somewhere, but I like keeping guys like Fred in business.
