Reflexit made the footwells of my 68 corvette tolerable from engine heat but does nothing about sound.
On my last car, I used fatmat for noise, followed by reflexit for heat, then the factory tar paper and jute back insulation. Very quiet and comfy.

I have used it before. Works decent. It is fairly inexpensive to purchase. Don't know how well it deals with moisture if that is a concern to you or not. I used it on an Oldsmobile I had. Helped with heat. Not much in the way of sound dedening. I used it over the factory sound deadener.

Is that the bubblewrap like stuff? If so, I used it behind my headliner for heat. It's worthless for sound, so I did some aluminum backed sound deadener behind it.
