I'm putting some new wheels on my 69 roadrunner and looking for some fitment help. I want to run 18x8 fronts with 235/40 and 18x9.5 with 275/40 or 295/40. Has anyone done this or have some pictures? Also looking for some help with the back spacing for the rear wheels? Stock wheel tubs so I'm trying to fit the widest tire and wheel possible in the rear.

I've got 18x8 with 4.5" backspace with a 245 on the front of my 69 runner. The car isn't completed yet but I have the full front suspension and fenders on and there is plenty of clearance I actually think I could have gone an inch wider with the same backspacing. In the rear I was going to attempt running a 10" wide rim but I ended up mini tubbing and going to a 12" wide rim, so I couldn't tell you for sure that a 9.5" would fit, but from my past measurements I think it would with the correct backspacing.

Thanks man I appreciate the help. I think that I've foud a 9.5" will fit in the back with 5" backspace nada 285.

You can run a 295 on the back with ease using the 5" back spacing on the rear. I run a 285 on a 9 and a 255 on a 8 on my Challenger. The B-Bodies are cavernous compared to the E-Bodies. Good luck.
