Need ideas for a New Steering wheel - 67 GTO

Hey guys...... still a newb around here.... Did some searches, but still looking for input.

My original plastic wood look stock steering wheel is faded. It can be restored..... but I am thinking of a new wheel to get the diameter down, but I dont want to lose the classic 60"s look.....

What are you guys using to keep that 60's look and feel, but want a new wheel?

      I am looking for :

      around a 14" wheel
      medium walnut wood
      3 spoke
      prefer brushed stainless spokes

I am open to ideas also....

This is what I have found so far
      Its a Grant wheel # 974

Please post pics of what you have or any ideas....

      Thanks guys....

I went for Grant's riveted wood style...I like the classic 60's style. It has a nice thick rim with pronounced finger grips on the back.

So in my never ending quest to over analyze a purchase.......

I asked myself if I ordered my GTO new.... would I have bought the "wood" wheel.......... and most likely..... no, I would not have.

So I widened my search for a wheel to include black rim wheels.....

Once again......... We have the classic look....

      And the more modern variation....

I personally am leaning toward the more modern wheel.....

Lecarra makes a similar steering wheel. My son put one on his 69 Camaro.

The picture from summit racing does not do that wheel anything close to justice. Here is a great picture of it in the Ring Brother's Bailout Mustang. It is leather wrapped and painted black and looks amazing, I do not even like red leather normally either!

Whatever you choose will look great, that is one nice goat! I really like the colour you have on it, you can also get the wheel with a wooden trim if you want to see more options.
