I was just playing around with Photoshop and wanted to see what Z06 wheels looked like on my car but the donor picture I had was a Camaro with silver wheels and the sunlight made them look white.

After the chop I thought it kind of looked good, now the more I look at it the more I like it! :icon996:

Anyone need some chrome 2000 Vette style 17" wheels? They have less than 100 miles on them and still look like new. :dunno: (check the sig for photos)

Try the same color as your wheels and see if that works.

The wheels you have right now look so nice on there.
I dont think the white wheels would look right at all unless you are going to run white stripes.

White wheels remind me of boat trailers :hmm:

I think white wheels look best on white cars. But I have seen some cars with white wheels that look sharp, however they usually have white stripes or accents to bring it all together. I recall a 72 red GTX that had white wheels and stripes that I thought looked really nice. The car was featured a while back in Hemmings muscle car magazine.

You will have such a hard time keeping them white. You'll spend more time cleaning your wheels than you will driving.

Now I dont have anything against "rice" as the term goes...i figure if someone feels the desire to customize a car, it deserves respect for the craftsmanship. That being said, those wheels remind me of something from an import....still, blending old style metal with new technology is the g-machine way.

I have been looking at it a while and personally, I think it looks cool, but I am not sure I would do it to my car. Just my opinion. I love the paint scheme though :)

I'm generally not against white wheels, especially on a white car, but I don't think they look right for that body. i would stick with the chromies you already have.

ok. Im gonna spill the beans. I recently was a tester for a new product they are putting out. a break dust repellant.

this product was incredible at keeping break dust off your wheels. ( I coined the phrase "a force field for your wheels" If they use it) it should be out soon.

I can't wait for it to come out. Thats awesome, I hate cleaning wheels.

you guys will freak.. all you do is spray this stuff on. (i was leary about spraying it on my rotors, but there was no noticeable effect) time interval between being able to notice brake dust on wheels went from 3 days to 3 weeks.
Seriously.

I meant to say try the wheels the same color as the stripes. My first reply made no sense.

It's something different and I like it! I'm rarely a fan of white wheels on anything (I only see them on fox body Mustangs) but I really like the look you have on your Camaro with them.

I say go for the white wheels.

The white looks better than I expected, because of the white stripes I think. Polished wheels look so much nicer though. The white just seem cheaper I guess.
