I need to have two brake lines made to go from my master cylinder to my prop valve. I would like to have stainless lines to match the rest of the lines on my car but I will have to pay someone to make them for me. I do not have the right tools for flaring stainless. The lines will be less than six inches in length. My local hydraulic shop that specializes in making lines said that it would be fine to install stainless flex lines in that location. I have the choice of the flex lines or hard stainless lines. Do you think it would fine to use either style line or should I use a hard line?

I went thru this same thing. What I did was use old brake line to get the lenght I needed. Then had the guys at right stuff make the new stainless line and bent it my self.

Braided lines would be OK for that to be honest. I just don't do it because I have the ability to bend and flare the hard lines and I don't care for the look of using flex lines at the MC.

Thanks, I was thinking the braided lines might look better. If both will work I will find out what is easier to make and which is more cost effective.

We can help if you are still in the market.
